• Eco-Host Malaysia is introduced by the Tourism Ministry of Malaysia to enhance the public’s awareness of the need to preserve and conserve the natural environment. It also aims at educating them on the current environmental situation and how human activities affect the natural environment’s ecosystem.

Why do I need to attend the Eco-Host?

• By attending the Eco-Host, the individual will better understand the relationship between tourism and the environment (including the local community) as well as the importance of eco-tourism and its relevance to the environment.

How can I participate in the Eco-Host?

• The Eco-Host is conducted by trained instructors at a fee of RM100.00. At the end of the course, participants will be presented with lapel pins and certificates as testimony that they have successfully completed the course.
